SMS & Messaging Policy

Last updated: 2026

This policy explains how Ridelynk (“we”, “us”) sends text messages (SMS) to users of the Ridelynk ride-hailing and delivery app in the United States, and how you consent to and control those messages.

How you opt in (consent)

You provide express consent to receive SMS from Ridelynk when you create a Ridelynk account and enter your own mobile phone number during signup, and agree to our Terms of Service. By doing so, you agree to receive one-time verification codes and transactional messages related to your account and trips. We only message numbers that were entered by the account holder. We do not buy, rent, or message purchased phone lists.

What we send

Messages are strictly transactional:

  • One-time verification/security codes to confirm your phone number at signup and login.
  • Trip notifications such as booking confirmations, driver-assigned alerts, and ride-status updates.

We do not send marketing or promotional SMS under this consent.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity (for example, each login verification or each trip you book). You will only receive messages tied to actions you take in the app.

Message & data rates

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Ridelynk does not charge for these messages.

Getting help (HELP)

Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us through in-app support. You can also review this policy at any time on this page.

Opting out (STOP)

You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation message and then stop sending SMS to that number. Note that opting out of verification codes may prevent you from completing signup or login.

Privacy & terms

Your information is handled per our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
