1. Acceptance of terms
By creating a Ridelynk account or using the Ridelynk app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Ridelynk is a technology platform that connects riders with independent drivers for transportation, parcel delivery, and pet transport in the United States. Ridelynk does not provide transportation itself; drivers are independent providers.
3. Eligibility & accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information, including a valid mobile number and email. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. We may verify your identity, phone, and email.
4. Fares & payments
Fares are shown before you confirm a booking and are calculated from base fare, distance, time, and any applicable surge pricing. Payment is processed through our payment partner (Stripe). You authorize Ridelynk to charge your selected payment method for completed trips and applicable fees.
5. Driver terms
Drivers must complete identity and document verification, hold valid licensing and insurance, and comply with all local laws. Ridelynk may suspend or remove drivers who fail verification, receive complaints, or violate these terms.
6. Messaging & notifications
By providing your number you consent to receive transactional SMS and email (verification codes, trip updates) as described in our SMS & Messaging Policy. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS.
7. Cancellations
You may cancel a booking subject to any cancellation fee shown in the app. Repeated cancellations may affect your account.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, harass drivers or riders, submit false information, or use the platform for unlawful purposes.
9. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ridelynk is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
